The Lighted Way ~ July 27

Since everything in the universe is a form of energy, everything falls within the
domain of the Law of Cycles: Sunrise and sunset, the waxing and waning moon,
the ebb and flow of tides, and the seasons of the year all reflect this law.
It reminds us there is a time for everything under the sun. All things rise and fall.

The Lighted Way

From our earthly perspective, cycles relating to the zodiacal constellations are the basis for the science of astrology. The Sun, Moon and all the planets appear to travel along the path of the ecliptic, from which passage we can derive the significance of these heavenly bodies as they influence our life and expression.

The Zodiacal Lights as shared in Esoteric Astrology by Alice A. Bailey represent the consciousness that qualifies each of the 12 constellations or signs in the ongoing dance of spirit and matter.

The Light of Leo is the Light of the Soul, accentuated during this month surrounding the Leo Full Moon Festival, this year on August 10.

When we consider this light in its context among the pantheon of all the Zodiacal Lights, a pattern is revealed: the Leo Light of the Soul follows Cancer’s Light within the form ~ as it awaits the stimulation coming from the soul light.

Our Leo Light is described to be a reflected point of divine light. Consider that it is rhythmically, in sequence, applied to Cancer’s diffuse light of substance itself ~ the dark light of matter.

Next month following Leo, the Light of Virgo is the blended dual light, in which the light of matter wanes and the light of spirit waxes, bringing integration as our bodies are informed.

These 3 signs in the complete zodiacal cycle comprise a segment of the symbolic story of the growth of the light body ~ within the Soul of Humanity and within each and every one of us.

This very study of the “growth of light in light”, we’re told, “will finally make clear the very purpose of God.”

To the Glory of the One!
