Look Up! ... Tuning to Sirius

Greetings Everyone,
July 26, 3:42pm PDT marked the beginning of the Sirius~Leo Cosmic lunar cycle, which peaks at the August 10 Full Moon Festival and ends August 25 at 7:13am PDT. This is the time for our soul light to become aware of the evolutionary energies emanating from Sirius our spiritual Sun and brightest star in the heavens. This cycle awakens a soulful humanity to the extraplanetary Life manifesting through Sirius. The folks at SouledOut.org invite you to participate in the Sirius~Leo Cosmic Festival Global Meditation.

Lunar Theme: Incubation, Preparation & Emergence "[The] New Moon occurs in the Egyptian Scarabaeus, commonly called Cancer the Crab ... [and] also conjoins Jupiter ... The Scarab is a symbol of regeneration, transformation and re-birth, of being self-created, or self-made, to rise from itself—hence humanity's association with the beetle’s emergence. This area of the heavens imparts a nurturing, protective and cultivating quality, ultimately to support this emergence." The lunar theme link includes more insights by Nick Fiorenza.

An Artist's Impression of Sirius A and Sirius B

The large, bluish-white star Sirius A dominates the scene, while Sirius B is the small but very hot and blue white-dwarf star on the right. The two stars revolve around each other every 50 years. The Earth lies in the stream of charged particles created from their close approaches. Note: Our Sun is shown as a small dot just below and to the right of Sirius A. The 3 brightest white dots in the image form the Summer Triangle, which Earthlings can see overhead during August nights.

Sirius can be seen low in the southeast just before sunrise, after the first week of August. Orion's belt stars point southeast to Sirius. Helpful Image Earthlings do not see Sirius near the Summer Triangle as depicted in the artist's image above.

July 26 not only begins the new Sirius~Leo Cosmic lunar cycle, it also begins the "Red Solar Moon New Year." July 26 is the first day of the 13 Moon Mayan and Galactic Calendar, originally correlated to the first, brief, visible rising of Sirius in the east. Quality of this New Year: "You are on the quest of self-remembrance, of Godseed ... As you open to self-remembrance, you become a beacon and receiver for cosmic consciousness."

Sirius reappears in the heavens during this lunar cycle, after being hidden from our view in the Sun's glowing embrace for 75 days. Our brightest star reveals itself anew as it rises in the east, heralding the morning Sun, ushering in a brand new day and a new Sirius cycle. Begin looking August 7 for the star's brief reappearance low on the southeastern horizon. Sirius gets easier to see each following morning before sunrise. When will you see Sirius?

This lunar cycle offers the opportunity to connect to the Sirian force. The Sirius~Leo Cosmic Festival cycle establishes a heart / soul alignment.

Leo stands in a unique relationship to the sun at the heart of our solar system. The planetary and systemic alignment established at this Festival is a heart / soul alignment. The heart of humanity, the heart of the planet ~ the spiritual Hierarchy ~ and the heart of the sun create the channel which extends to Sirius ... This alignment is evocative of the cosmic principle of Love and Freedom, both of which flow through Sirius and Leo into our range of awareness. Lucis Trust website, 2005

Note: Once a year, during Earth's orbit around the Sun, the Sun passes directly in front of Leo's brightest star, Regulus. This occurs because Regulus is positioned almost exactly on the ecliptic. Annually on or near August 22, the Sun (heart of our solar system) occults Regulus (heart star of Leo the Lion), which focuses and regulates the emanations of Sirius (esoterically the heart of our Sun) toward Earth.

The August 10 Sirius~Leo Full Moon conjoins the head of Aquila the Eagle. This royal eagle of Jupiter and the great bird of Zeus, is a messenger from heaven, who leads us to immortality by lifting us to the realms of higher mind and intuition. Aquila and its brightest star Altair soar above the Sirius~Leo Full Moon symbolizing vision and freedom. Look Up! The location of Altair and the Full Moon underscore that now is the time to make contact with the higher liberating, evolutionary forces -- energies aligned with the cosmic principle of Love and Freedom.

The Sirius~Leo Cosmic lunar cycle with its New Moon placement in the Egyptian Scarabaeus is preparing us for regeneration, transformation, re-birth and spiritual emergence. The heavens are encouraging us to be self-created, self-made, and to rise up from ourself. The Mayan New Year (7/26/14 - 7/25/15) is taking us on a journey of remembering our Godseed within, to become a beacon and receiver for cosmic consciousness. Our heart and soul are being realigned with the extraplanetary Life of our spiritual Sun Sirius, so that we may fulfill our Divine Destiny.

We know Sirius to be an ever greater influence, as we continue the spiritual work ... From Sirius, the energy of Love~Wisdom flows through our Spiritual Kingdom and to us. This Sirian energy pours through our Hierarchy and into our receptive vehicles, enabling us to tread the Path of Purification ~ we let go and let the Divine guide our steps ... How shall we further this great transformation? Our method is Invocation and Evocation. Our interrelationship with the Divine comes through Transmission ~ Reception ~ Absorption ~ Relation ~ Living Activity ... Sirian energies are stepped down to us, and we step up to meet them.
