Cancer 2008 Impression

Dear Co-Workers: Most of us are very familiar with the phrase "Build a Lighted House and Therein Dwell" which usually refers to the constellation Cancer and the application of that energy into our own lives.

It is interesting to contemplate the Planetary Logos' plan of building a Lighted House. The Earth is in process of becoming a sacred planet and we are here now to do all we can to assist with that process in transforming our planetary home. We can also extend this idea of building and light into the Solar System, our Galaxy and even the entire Universe. Interesting to contemplate the whole Universe as a Lighted House!

We are told in A Treatise on Cosmic Fire p. 829 that our Planetary Logos on his high level is "sitting for Yoga." We know that Yoga not only means Union, but is the method by which it is attained. There are some that even have hypothesized that our planetary purpose might be Union.

If the Purpose might indeed be Union, only those who recognize this as a possibility can consciously participate and cooperate with that Purpose. For only as the lower is lifted up into the Higher will Humanity become that "Station of Light" for which it is destined, and which has far greater implications than our planetary life and even our own Solar System (Esoteric Psychology II, p. 217).

We are told in A Treatise on Cosmic Fire p. 294 that through each etheric centre man is bringing to perfect vibration some one principle or quality through which the subjective life may express itself. This is true of an individual human being, and we might recognize that each Ashram is also an etheric centre within the planetary body. Each one is bringing to perfect vibration some one principle or quality through which the subjective Life may express itself.

So for any group connected to an Ashram, it is good to know that we are each contributing in our own place, in our own way, through our own particular gifts and to perhaps recognize that the contributions, if made along true spiritual principles, are helping to bring to perfect vibration some one principle or quality in the planetary life.

But at the core of EVERY ASHRAM lies the same Purpose — we are all engaged in the same work of bringing to fruition the plans and eventual fruition of Purpose of our Planetary Logos. We are therefore united in a most sacred endeavour, and that thought alone should completely do away with any feelings of being separated from one another or any part of the planetary life, or any investments in our own specialties without putting them in context of the Whole. We are all here to Serve the Will and Purpose of the Lord of the World.

There will come in the future for all a blending of the Lights, either in an individual man, planetary life or solar system and beyond. I believe there is a lot to be contemplated by everyone found in Esoteric Astrology, p. 563 as to the next seed thought or "key sound" for the next revelation of the Ageless Wisdom. Perhaps it will be something like "The Unity of the One Life."

Discipleship in the New Age II, p. 320: "This 'Circle of Liberation' is ever entered by the individual initiate, and has been down the ages, but now, for the first time, it is being entered by humanity itself and as a whole.... Humanity, entering this circle, will be confronted by the first major lesson: the Unity of the One Life. This form of presentation will be more easily recognized by the masses than such phrases as Brotherhood, Relationship, Fraternity."

The Earth will become a Lighted House if we cooperate with the process underway and with each other. What an interesting time to be alive!
